Wildcats take first

The West Stokes Wildcats' competition cheerleading squad traveled to Charlotte, NC on October 17th for the Annual Carolina's Theme Park Cheerleading Competition and brought home a first place finish for a second consecutive year.
The Wildcats competed against thirteen other squads this year and not only won their division, but also won with excellence in choreography. "I'm extremely proud of the girls and guys," stated Head Coach Theresa Edwards. "They put in a lot of hard work and preparation for this competition. We are happy to come down here and win for a second time."
Members of the competition team are: Karah Abbott, Braeden Barr, Chelsea Beamer, Heather Black, Molly Blackman, Kayla Blakely, Lauren Bondurant, Carleigh Covert, Jessica Daniels, Casey Dowling, Honestie Lark, Sarah Schrader, Shannon Womack, Ben Alderman, Jacob Schrader, Jared Moorefield, and Mike Rondon. |
