Jr. Lady Bobcats take second in Bergman Invitational

November 2, 2009
Flippin High School

The Jr. Lady Bobcats lost to Kingston Thurs nigh by a score of 36-33 to second place in the Bergman Invitational Tournament.  Turnovers were the story as the lady bobcats dropped a 5 point lead in the last two minutes of the game.  The Bobcats once again played some very good defense and gave a great effort as they played their fourth game in as many nights.  While the loss was very disappointing to the players and coaches, they are very excited about returning Flippin Girls Basketball to an exciting game.  Scores for the Jr. Lady Bobcats were, Amanda Whitman with 14, Kaylee Wood 9, Megan Loucks and Hannah Davis with 4 and Corrina Riggs with 2.

The Jr. Lady Bobcats, Lady Bobcats and Bobcats will travel to I.C.C. on Friday night with play beginning at 5:30PM
