Letter from Mr. Bockart on IKE recovery and return

Dear Parents and Students,

 

We are looking forward to resuming classes on Monday,September 29, 2008.  We hope thateach of you are safe and have recovered from the Hurricane.  We know that many people in ourcommunity have sustained damage to their homes and have faced some hardship asa result of the storm. 

 

The ninth grade center sustained significant damage from the storm.  Restoration crews have beenworking diligently to make repairs. Due to the storm damage, we will have to relocate several classes toalternate locations at least temporarily.

 

On Monday, September 29th all 10th, 11th,and 12th grade students should report to their advisory classes at7:20 AM.  All 9th gradestudents should report to the main campus auditorium at 7:20 AM.  All students will receive a copy oftheir schedule and will receive important information about room changes.

 

Open house that was scheduled for September 15thwill be rescheduled at a later date.

 

Junior parent night has been rescheduled for October 8th,at 7:00 PM in the main campus cafeteria.

 

Senior parent night has been rescheduled as follows:

            A-LTuesday, October 21, 7:00 PM, main campus cafeteria.

            M-ZWednesday, October 22, 7:00 PM, main campus cafeteria.

 

The CCISD College Night will still take place on Wednesday,October 1st, at Clear Brook High School at 7:00 PM

 

The SAT test will still be administered at CCHS on Saturday,October 4th at 8:00 AM for those who have registered.

 

The PSAT test will still be administered at CCHS on October15th during school hours, see the counseling office for details.

 

The three week progress report will not be sent home.  The six week progress report will besent home on October 9, 2008.  Keepin mind that the six week progress report is the first official UIL eligibilitycheck.  All students whoparticipate in any extra-curricular activity must be passing all classes on thesix week progress report in order to participate.
